Department of the Environment staff organized and carried out a cleanup in Gales Point Manatee in the week after the passage of Hurricane Richard. A total of 55 large bags of garbage and several pieces of bulky items were collected and taken out of the village.

Several primary school aged children, both boys and girls, came out to help, and we would like to thank all of them for their assistance and say congratulations in helping to clean up their village!!!
